Bodybuilding Forum Exposes Facebook Security WeaknessesMembers of an online bodybuilding forum have exposed a set of glaring security holes in popular social networking phenomenon Facebook – resulting in their posting of several private photos belonging to the site's founder Mark Zuckerburg! Members of the bodybuilding forum exploited a weakness in the site's reporting functions, enabling its members to see Zuckerburg's private pics. They did this by flagging one photo as 'inappropriate', which then allowed then to include and view other photos in the same set and add them to their report. Internet security firm Sophos chief technology consultant Graham Cluley said that "in many ways it's good that Zuckerberg's account was targeted - if it such a high profile figure hadn't fallen victim, the flaw might have continued to have been exploited for much longer opening up opportunities for stalkers and others to view private photos.” Thanks to the discoveries of the bodybuilding fans, Facebook has swiftly moved to close the security loophole, making the site safer for everyone posting pics there.
