Paul Becker Bodybuilding

Paul Becker Truly Huge Workout

Who is bodybuilder Paul Becker?

Paul Becker is the owner of TrulyHuge.com one of the oldest and most respected bodybuilding sites, and he is an old school bodybuilding trainer. He is a big proponent of Mike Mentzer and HIT workouts.

He followed the advice of Mike Mentzer from the late 1970's up until Mike's passing in 2001, he was even personally trained by Mentzer in 1999.

He also studied and learned from many of the greats of high intensity training such as Arthur Jones, Ellington Darden, Casey Viator, Ken Hutchens, Bradley J. Steiner, Stuart McRobert, etc.

What is Paul Becker's workout?

While he has tried every version of HIT including going to the extreme of only a few sets every 7 to 10 days, Paul has through constant experimenting/trial and error come up with what he found works best for himself and his own personal training clients.

He found that training all out to failure on every set of every workout too easily leads to burnout, illness and injury. So he recommends cycling intensity where you build up to peak intensity and then cut back and slowly work your way up to an even higher peak of strength/intensity.

He also recommends training a body part any where from 1 to 3 times a week, stating that it is not the muscles themselves that get over trained as much as it is the central nervous system and as long as that is not over taxed you can train your muscle groups more often and get faster gains by doing so.

He does 1 to 3 sets for each exercise, and any where from 1 to 4 exercises for a body part, so in general anywhere from 3 to 5 sets for each muscle group.

Some of his favorite high intensity techniques are pre exhaust; drop sets, rest pause, negatives super slow and zone training.

What are the Truly Huge workout results?

Becker transformed himself from 5'5" and 120 pounds with a small bone structure to a solid 175 pounds without ever using steroids, HGH or any other drugs.

He also has successfully trained thousands of men and women to reach their own personal bodybuilding and fitness goals, many of which have written raving testimonials.
