Rachel McLish won the very first Ms. Olympia contest held in 1980, with her good looks and sculpted muscular yet feminine figure she helped make female bodybuilding popular and to get women using weight training as a way to get their dream bodies.

She again won the 1982 Ms. Olympia and appeared on the cover of Muscle and Fitness magazine many times.

She also inducted into the IFBB Hall of Fame in 1999.

She has written books on fitness including: "Flex Appeal" and "Perfect Parts".

She went on to be an actress and has appeared in:

Pumping Iron II: The Women
Getting Physical
Aces: Iron Eagle III
Raven Hawk
